And to tell you the truth when I play on console I will sometimes self-trade to evolve Graveler and such (I'm just too lazy to set that up on my emulator at the moment). As a self imposed challenge what ultimately matters is if you will feel like you legitimately beat the challenge at the end.

I just haven't done platinum in so long I am quite up to snuff on which trainers are good to grind on, and wilds are generally safer.
