> Latias and Ash slip away for a quiet moment during the events of the first movie and Ash gets his first proper kiss> Redux of the ending where Ash calls out to Latias and asks her if she wants to go (you can go either way on it)> Ash thinks of Latias after his loss to Tobias> Ash asks for Latias's help in the lead up to his Tobias match and we get Latias vs Latios Anything beyond those will probably feel too OOC for Ash or Latias. He's not the person to realize he's in love and go find her.
As for *longer* stories, I want to see the "Latias joins Ash's party for a whole region" idea played straight just one time. Just one time invent a set of circumstances where he goes back for her or she finds him and they decide to take on a region together and maybe kiss a bunch. I'm very partial to that and am working on a *very* long-form version of that story, unfortunately without the kissing and also a lot more stuff piled in that'll probably turn off anyone looking for Ash and Latias to kiss.
