>>49183150>GastrodonI send in Brit(w/Quick Claw) who sets up Max Attack, Max Defense and Max Special Defense over a big number of turns using Curse, Amnesia and Rest when in need of healing.
Eventually, after Brit is fully set up and has rested up, I land a Strength. Cynthia decided enough is enough and makes a pokemon switch. In comes...
>LucarioWho takes more than half damage from Strength despite the resist.
Aura Sphere does nasty damage even with +6 Special Defense, but a second Strength knocks it out.
>GastrodonSludge Bomb knocks Brit down to the single digits, but Rest ensures Brit will live.
Gastrodon throws out one Sludge Bomb and two Earthquakes, but only manages to chip Brit down a bit.
Once Brit wakes, Strength knocks out the Slug
>MiloticIt uses Scald(the one thing I really don't want is a burn, even if I can rest it away), Strength does heavy damage, and Flame Orb activates, applying Miracle Scale.
Milotic then uses Recover, and Brit uses Strength. Milotic is slowly gaining back a little health every turn, but not much. As long as I get at least one Quick Claw activation(have been getting really few so far), I should be able to take it down.
Four turns of Recover and Strength later I still have no Quick Claw activation, and I'm getting worried it might be getting a bit too healthy, but that very moment, Brit finally gets a Quick Claw activation, and Milotic falls to Strength.
>GarchompIt hits Brit with Earthquake, which she soaks decently well, and Strength does more than half in return. However, Rough Skin deals some extra damage, and Brit is almost in the red.
I decide I can't afford to switch out or Rest(an unlucky Swords Dance on the switch into a Chomp sweep could potentially happen), so Brit stays in, lives Earthuake with 8 HP remaining, KOs Garchomp with Strength, dies to Rough Skin and wins me the battle with that sacrifice.
Good work team! Sad about Brit though.
