So my character moved at the start of the game because her mother married a rich guy who works in another region and part of her getting sent off to Pokemon School (Uva for me) was to just sorta get her out of the way
She's never felt like she's had much value to other people, but she loves Pokemon a lot and they provide an avenue for her to gain some self worth
They can offer a special kind of unconditional love
That's where her passion for battling comes from (and why she's a Pokephile lol)
It's also a release for her anger and the violent feelings that she can't very well take out on others
Being good at battling attracts the attention of Nemona, who otherwise wouldn't look at her
She grows to be okay with Nemona, despite hating how pushy she is, but she knows that without that connection of being so talented they wouldn't have a real friendship and it was convenient they were neighbors in the first place
Arven just used her to pawn off a Pokemon he didn't want, although she's fine with it because she loves that which is rare (also why she shiny hunts) and Miraidon is a cute
She sees helping him as a way to pay him back for the free bike and doesn't mind venting with him about their parental issues
Arven is actually appreciative of her so I would say they are really friends and he has romantic feelings for her
Penny however is the absolute worst, I hated the Team Star shit so much I can't even make my OC like her a little bit
She thinks the whole thing is ridiculous and was only in it for the free LP and because doing the headmaster a favor could only work out positively for her
"If these Team Star members want to get suspended, so what? Replace them students who will actually study."
She doesn't like how Penny complains about her dad when her home life is what it is
By the time the main story is over she's ready to fuck off to Kitakami where no one will bug her with ulterior motives
