On the one hand, I hate the gen 4 pokemon designs more than any other generation. The gameplay slowed WAY down, and it took forever to do anything. They found a way to make caves even worse with a pokemon more annoying than Zubat. No fire types. Way too many legendaries.
But at the same time...I put more time into Diamond version than any other pokemon game. The physical/special change. An interesting non-linear overworld with so much to discover. Online for the first time. Interesting early game pokemon to catch.
