>>44709185Well, if you go buy one of the Japanese promotional materials (which was also referenced in XY), 'Eggs' aren't actually eggs; they're natural incubators that Pokemon parent's build out of leafs/sticks/etc. So, it's like putting a baby puppy in a shell that sustains it, until it's strong enough to fend for itself.
