>>43124306I've obtained my first badge in the Galar gym challenge. This game started off as a total slog, especially since I kept encountering nothing but Normal-types for a while, but as I got closer to the gym battle it became somewhat more bearable. Difficulty-wise it isn't as much of a pushover as I thought it would be, I'm relying on status moves much more than I have done in my last couple runs which makes battles much more interesting. Also, Dynamax added a bit more depth to the gym battle than exists in other Pokemon games, it's really enjoyable. All that aside, this game does still suck ass though. The biggest challenge I've faced has been trying to keep my mons under the level cap since the EXP share is on at all times. What a stupid idea.
