A journalist deals in objective facts and news. A good journalist would be doing interviews and getting facts about why the dexcuts happened, who put pressure on the dev team, and how much of the assets were recycled.
Criticism is a subset of journalism which deals in subjective critique. Does this piece of art work structurally? Is it engaging? What techniques are used to create that effect? The INSTANT someone mentions "fun" or "pacing" They're entering subjectivity land and its an opinion whether you realize that or not.
