I suppose the ability could still fit given how other Overcoat users have a rather vague application of it, but it's not the worst ability to lose since Shed Skin is the better of the two anyway. Changing the text is the easiest part though, so nothing's carved in stone.

UBs may be Pokemon, but the reason they're different is justified from their origin, and not that GameFreak has dropped all boundaries of what's now a normal Pokemon design.
So if you want to design something more complex or unnatural, then call it an Ultra Beast and you'll be fine. Pokemon designs are still meant to be fairly simple and cartoonish, look no further than the other Pokemon introduced in Alola.
