You anons would not believe how much I want to just say fuck everything and make my own, better remake of platinum by hand from scratch, just to spite gamefreak ILCA and the Pokemon Company.
The only thing stopping me is the time investment vs current commitments, and the fact that it would be a legal nightmare and I need to earn money so I can literally just survive life.
If I could somehow get donations from people to make it, or exist in some reality where I could just sit in a box and never have to worry about food/water/shelter/etc I would make this game, and I would do a better job.
However, I'm really not looking to be sued by a multibillion dollar international company.
I might work on some assets and things in my spare time as a hobby, and if I ever get financially stable enough to devout more spare free time to it, I would absolutely do so, and release it for free.
My motivation isn't to make money. I feel fucking gutted by what they did to this game. My motivation is that of sheer anger, and pursuit of artistic vision.
Anyway I have commissions to finish and I've got to work on concept art for something i've been hired for, so I can't keep venting my rage on here forever. Please take the information I've provided and spread it. It hurts me to see anyone defending this piece of shit game, but I have to try to emotionally move past this.
