Anina peeps out from her super safe safety hiding spot under the round table, "O-Oh, oh no! H-Haunter!"
As much as Anina wants to help, she's just too chicken to do shit about it, even though Haunter's been at her side even since he was a Ghastly and she was just some punk kid conning bitches into looking into truth defining mirrors.
"G-Gosh, I-I'm so timid!"
Just as it seems the Sludge's talons are about to crush Haunter for all he's worth, Haunter's eyes shine for a split-second. It's a glistening gleam that the Black Sludge catches, resulting in a forced liberty.
"GAAAAAGH! My POWERRRRRS!"
>The Black Sludge's power to manifest objects has been disabled! The claws holding Haunter dissipate into puddles of dark goop, allowing him to break free. As a counter-attack for the disablement spell, the Sludge opens his wide mouth and reveals his uvula.
"HAVE SOME OF THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS!"
Channeling some of the energy from the guildmates he's absorbed, the Sludge unleashes an array of spells that shoot out at Haunter like bursting fireworks.
Still, that uvula looks rather...tempting.
