>>40142069You don't even have to go back to 2003 for good route design, Gen 4 and 5 also had it, hell, even Kalos had a routes that weren't terrible barring shit like the meme route 1 and the barren wasteland (Not as good as 3/4/5 but not terrible). Alola could have improved on routes in 3D but instead they didn't even fucking bother and Galar looks to be the same disaster.
