>too focused on this "complete" notionI know it's a bit of an "autistic" thing on my part, and I definitely don't want to make the argument that it should be so "complete" because the main games do that. I just feel like it's a "slightly empty" or a bit "imbalanced" because of the way its set up (Which is hilariously ironic considering this is Pokemon we're talking about).
I think of it as not so much being "complete" just for "completeness's sake" but rather, being "complete" for the sake of exploring all the possibilities. This is something that I always felt was an important part of Pokemon's spirit. After all, completing the pokedex is a huge aspect of the games, and these are the games that coded in pic related and continue to make shiny versions of what are now shiny-locked pokemon, despite the fact that there is no way of legally obtaining them in-game.
I know it doesn't "have to be complete." I'm not saying it has to, but a little extra push can go a long way, even if nobody ever really notices it.
With all that said, the specific critique I made is more of a nit-pick. It's not really anything that would spoil the game for me anyway.
