>>18047894It's done for a reason m8, they start off with the games in the gens and use them for sales, because everyone would be willing to buy it and not wait for 2 years for a sequel. With that time, they only have to add in a few more features, slap on a new title and then postprone it for about 2 years then release it ensuring everyone will get it, getting them roll in the money.
It was a different turn for B/W and B/W2 since it was a new story but it's probably going to be like Platinum/Emerald ways, just a slight change in appearance with the features everyone wants.
