>>58304865>I do wonder what reality the maker of this was living It was the reality called "2008", and everyone at the time agreed, because no one was young (or unfortunate - depending on your viewpoint) enough to have started with Gen 3 or 4, or had any nostalgia for them. The GBA games had just come out few years back and Gen 4 was basically brand new.
Then by the time Gen 5 rolled the internet had turned to shit and picrel was somehow considered a funny take on the original.
