The really cool thing about garb is that it's really a lategame attacker, but it makes up almost half of their attackers typically. That means if you have anything in you have anything in your deck that's good against their espeon/drampa/etc, garb is 100% a burden on them and not you, and it's easier to have an answer to drampa/espeon because you're not spending slots on garb.
