>>53621955I remember talking with high-level Ingress players back in 2019, and it always fascinated me that the only thing that would get them frothing at the mouth as much as their anger towards spoofers was the idea of people submitting footbridges and tiny park plaques for tree species or memorial locations. It feels like the "community" is constantly at a civil war with itself between the AR autists that defend Niantic to know end and the landwhale MMOers with their wagie supporters that won't stop seething about remote raid passes getting nerfed.
