>>40537385that could honestly be a pretty good idea, having friendly NPC trainers pop up would be a nice touch, but I think they may be OP if they offer stuff like power ups or candy. Maybe offering small amounts of candy or stardust would be fine, but I think to offset it team rocket members would have to offer more rewards, as a shadow ratatta is gonna have a tough time competing with potentially free candies
