Honestly, I like all the new Pokémon designs except sun lion and koala, though I'm withholding full judgment on the koala until I see it in motions, its animations could save it.
However, Hau seems like he's going to be a food-based Tierno and Rotomdex and the map marker thing makes me fearful they're going to somehow casualize the games even more than Gen VI did. Those things, combined with just how much I disliked Gen VI, don't instill a lot of hope for these games.
