I do not play the online game since a friend told me it's a shit adaption (or at least in his experience), but I play IRL and am interested in using some physical decks and maybe let others use them. Since I haven't really experienced the game online and that articles on the internet about decks usually hide behind paywalls, I have a few questions before I order a whole bunch of singles eventually.
>Fairy decks
I want to surprise a friend and a lot of fairies seem to be useful on paper. What do these usually run and what's with the talk of using a Max Potion in these? Do you move loads of energy off with Aromatisse before healing? Is the idea of using Regirock as a hammer-proof Fairy energy storage bad in practice?
>Manectric EX and its Mega
Are both of these mostly used as either a secondary/support or as a main attacker? They look like fun cards to use.
>Mega Gallade + Bats
I saw this mentioned on a Pokebeach article, it looks neat but is it actually not shit? I plan to get the bats anyway but Gallade EX seems real cheap as fuck at the moment.
>Energy management
Most decks I see have ten or less energies in them without any moves/ability/cards to fish out more from the deck/discard, like some Landobats lists I've seen. How do most people deal with having this amount without having to worry about a shortage of them within the deck or next several draws? Does having high drawing power (by comparison to other TCGs anyway) and Scoop-Up Cyclone easily compensate for this? What about Pokemon like Mega Latios who burns through two energy to bench snipe? Wouldn't that run out fast, especially if some energy was stuck as prizes?
Thanks in advance anons
