There is literally NO excuse for the US not getting Mega Steelix. None at all. I achieve great difficulty in trying to to understand why they would do this, and I can't. I'm tired of Game Freak's bullshit. They are one of the worst developers out there. They never listen to what the people want, and never adhere to any feedback given to them. They have continuously lowered the difficulty of the games to make them more accessible, and in the process fucked over fans of the Pokémon series. They remove beloved features in every release of their games. I was not of a fan of trainer customization, but it's removal from the series is nothing but a blatant display of Game Freak's laziness- something that is seldom difficult to find apparent in many of their actions.
Removing Pokémon contests? Fuck you. That was one of my favorite features.
Removing following Pokémon? This was a brilliant feature that many, many people (including me) adored. Many have begged for it's return, but as stated before, Game Freak couldn't care less about any player feedback.
There are many more examples of Game Freak's laziness, such as the exclusion of the new mega Pokémon in X and Y (which, I would like to add, is something that would be very easy for them to do and require minimal effort). I have merely touched the surface. Another example: events. Instead of adding events to the main game as a side story, they force you to drive 10 minutes to your nearest GameStop and get a code for it that automatically gives you the Pokémon when inputted. Are you fucking kidding me? If you're just going to give the damn thing away you might as well do it as a Wi-Fi event- which, I would like to add, is still itself a product of Game Freak's inconceivable bullshit.
