Fairy has better offensive physical moves (not that hard to achieve since PCut is weak as shit and ZHeadbutt is average), Poison types can be dealt with via said psychic coverage moves or another teammate while the new defensive typing allows him to actually switch into things directly instead of relying on double switches or slow volt turns.
But what Gallade really needs is either a busted ability or a speed buff (especially the latter, speed is war).
