A platypus based on the reaction to the first (stuffed) platypus sent to Britain. They thought it was a joke, just random animals strung together literally. Here's that in pokemon form. Literally.

what our pseudo needs:
some kind of immunity - whether it be from its typing (flying, ground, steel, ghost, dark or fairy) or from its ability (Sap Sipper, Lightning Rod, Water Absorb, etc).

Dragon typing is not a requirement.

My suggestion: Water/Ghost Frankenstein monster platypus line. Based on both Aboriginal lore and the horror story.
