I picked Sceptile years ago because I had a thing with my two sisters, where we'd each choose a different starter to each other. I got Treecko. At the time, I thought I got the short end of the stick. I was one of those painfully edgy kids that thought black and red was the best colour scheme ever, and I hated the look of Sceptile, since it used to be Grovyle, which I liked much better. 12 years pass, and my tastes have changed quite a bit. I guess my current tastes could relate to me as a person, as I like Sceptile's chill design much more than Grovyle's, and likewise, I'm a much more mellow person than I was years ago. So yeah, I'll be going with Treecko again.
Also Mega-Sceptile is cool as fuck.
