But her name is Alex, and she was born in Sunyshore City where her father was the gym leader before Volkner, and was also an electric gym. Her first Pokemon is a baby Shinx that grew up with her, and when she's 8 they move to Johto, and when she's 12 she starts her journey, picking Totodile as her starter. She's a pretty happy girl and tends to get along well with the trainers she runs into. She's not out to catch them all, not really out to win a League, at least at first, she just catches a select few and focuses on being friends with them. She challenges whatever is in front of her if it strikes her as interesting enough.
