That gives the samurai-themed Samurott to calm, composed Cheren, and it gives Serperior (whose design has feminine inspiration) to Bianca. Plus I think Emboar's "cares deeply about its friends" thing suits Hilbert the most of the three (he seems kind of like the "central" friend of the trio since they meet at his house in the beginning, and Cheren and Bianca aren't shown to interact with each other as much)
