>>49895147Well, seeing how this thread is (somehow) still here...
Slowly, you begin to regain conciseness. The first thing you recall is chasing a Pokemon through the woods. The details are blurry as you awaken, but you remember the Pokemon laughing and acting like it was some kind of game, and for some reason, you really wanted to give chase. Was it something rare? You groan and fail to open your eyes, instead trying to think through the pain in your head. You must have face planted pretty hard into something. Then, you take a breath, as the pain in your head starts residing unnaturally quickly. It is as if you are being enveloped in a blanket of healing, and you wonder if this is how Pokemon feel when they arrive at the Pokemon Center. The pain in your head isn’t the only thing to fade, all your cuts and bruises seem to mend and you feel more refreshed than a nights sleep typically accomplishes. Taking a breath of the humid summer air, you open your eyes. Then you close them again, not believing what you just saw. Perhaps you hit your head harder than you thought.
You open your eyes again, and it-- no, she-- is still there. Her bright blue eyes stare into yours, playful mischief apparent in them, but also concern and an intelligence that is far different to your own. Her pink fur seems to almost glisten in the sunlight, and her almost cat-like muzzle is so close to your face that you can smell her. She smells like adventure and nostalgia, like going outside and swimming in a lake of fresh water, like the woods themselves but stronger and sweeter. Behind her adorable face is a tail with a large end that is swinging back and forth with abandon, and you notice that she can’t seem to float exactly in one place, instead drifting one way are another before correcting, almost like a little dance.
“Mew?” She inquires, concern apparent in her voice, which is somehow melodic and seems as if to echo around you, just... without the echo. Then, she starts laughing.
