Seems like things aren't looking up quite yet and losses keep mounting. Last time it was the fighting types, this time it was the flying types' turn. Mint the Swablu fell victim to an unfortunate critical hit against Tabitha. Beggar the Pelliper went down like a champ against Flannery. He oneshot Flannery's Numel, Slugma and Camerupt before they could do anything. Torkoal was a different beast though, I did good damage before the sun was up and I stalled out one sunny day with protect and supersonic, but couldn't kill it quick enough. Eventually poor Beggar got done in by attract immobilizing and body slam paralysis allowing Flannery to set up sun and kill with overheat. My own Torkoal then tanked some overheats to drop her special attack after which Brilliant the Sableye could come in and clean up.
As for team changes, Don the now Machoke came in to add a much needed hard hitter to the team and to replace my previous fighting types for Norman. I'll need a surfer soon so I'll probably grind up Tentacool as my final member. I might wait until after Norman so I have a few more options for one though.
