I think Ash and Alan will fight, either Alan will will or Lysandre and will interrupt them first, Alain reveals he's working for team flare and they'll have their true final battle during the TF arc, where Ash will win
Alain will probably see the attack as excessive and try to chew out Lysandre for it but wont truly turn until he hears Lysandres plan after he's beaten by Ash
Then we get three heroes vs Lysandre
