Those adorable little horns actually serve a purpose. Goomy have very poor eyesight and have to depend upon their other senses to locate prey in the wild. Those horns are actually an extremely sensitive sensory organ. They detect micro-fluctuations in the air pressure around them and then interpret that as nearby movement. That means you need to be gentle with them, and also keep them away from fans otherwise they may get overstimulated or even think it's a large predatory pokemon nearby.
