Everything went fine until we made it to Lance, I had :-) in front thinking they'd be able to sweep Lance, Gyarados went fine, but then came Aerodactyl, which I had forgotten to take into account. "Fine" I thought "I'm sure :-) can tank a Rock Slide, Lapras is a bulky mon". It ended up taking well over 60% of their HP, Sitrus Berry only barely getting us over half HP again "Ok, that's fine, I'm sure-" Flinched. And from there it was all a downhill battle, I had to switch mons a lot to not outright lose mons left and right, and every switch I make is one extra turn for the opponent to fuck me over considering I can't heal damage or status. In the end, Friend Bob just barely managed to kill Lance's Thunder Dragonite by having it miss its Thunders, talk about a pyrrhic victory
This is especially bad since there goes my primary Red counter with Top Model dying, Rhyperior was gonna carry me through the Red fight, but now I'm gonna have to get creative...
