Gen 5 was the last time I enjoyed playing pokemon in my own bubble. Gen 4 almost killed the franchise for me but luckily I gave Soul Silver a shot and loved it. Sw/Sh I think finally did it in for me on the main games, tried sun and moon and after the hype of 3D died I dropped it and never went back. Every fiber of my being is fighting against getting PLA for fear of giving into the hype and being disappointed.
