Official sizes were created when they amounted to nothing more than a number in the dex entries, but now that we have 3D games, some Pokemon with dumb sizes look retarded as fuck when near humans.
That's why the anime proceeded to retcon sizes from day one, because a manlet Charizard or Gyarados look like shit
Not saying Charizard should be the size of Skyrim dragons, but let him be 2 meters tall, so your average teenager doesnt tower over him like that...
