I imagine a baby Ralts needs even more emotional comfort than a human baby, since it's still very sensitive and not in control of its own feelings.
As for its physical needs, they seem to grow at about the same rate as humans. Ralts is the same size as a human infant, and Gardevoir and Gallade are both around the height of the average female human. So they'd probably need a similar amount of food compared to a human.
