Peridot will likely stick around since it's their "original" IP that was supposed to overtake PoGo. If they shut it down, they would pretty much concede that they are unquestionably incapable of creating anything worthwhile, that they will always depend on the Pokémon IP, and even worse, that their AR tech, which is supposed to be their flagship product, is irrelevant and nobody gives a flying fuck about it. But it's effectively dead and it not even compatible with a lot of devices like my A53 for fuck's sake.
