Seriously. Connecting it to wifi and having to transfer them from system to system in the postgame. Of all fucking things. I could understand having to beat the game once to unlock hard mode, but even easy mode was locked behind that asinine key system, which just makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
Who honest to god looked at that shit and thought "Yes, this is the best way to possibly present a new feature that could please both casuals and longtime fans alike, I see no reason to alter the method in which difficulty settings are introduced. This is the height of accessibility and good game design."
