>>50487855In this fight, Pikachu was greatly outclassed, but he still proved to be Ash's strongest Pokemon by being able to actually trade blows with Infernape instead of getting one-shotted. Makes sense when you consider Pikachu has been with Ash since the very beginning, much like Flint with Infernape. But in PM all of Ash's team are Pikachu level as if had had them forever. But yeah i agree a fight between them at full power would have been great to see, but i guess Flint preferred to get destroyed by Leon instead.
