Some masters talk last thread reminded me that there was a point in which there was a great husbando shortage for quite a while. I mean the available selection on release wasn't bad but they had only released one new male character released, Hilbert (who is a good boy), while they keep releasing various flavors of waifus every other week. I think I legitimately sent "please add more new male characters" as feedback at one point. Finally on late November, they put out 2 top tier husbandos at once: Grimsley and Giovanni, and made more effort in writing dating sim dialogues like they do with the waifus.
After then there have been a more steady trickle of new husbandos, Lance, Calem, Steven, Red, etc. The upcoming scheduled release pairs are still waifu heavy but I'm good with the eye candy supply for now as I'm waiting for ya boi
