so let me get this straight, Hanke's game design is:
>offer raids of legendary/rare pokemon
>assuming you are able to do it from 8-8pm or whatever limited time
>assuming you live in or very close to a city
>assuming you have a way to get to a raid
>assuming you know these raids even happen since you're not next to them
>OR assuming you have the time to go find a gym and sit around all day hoping a raid for the mon you want will pop up
>assuming you can just stand by whatever gym for x period of time
>assuming by the grace of god other people also want to do it and can get there
>assuming these other people also know its going on
>assuming you know how much it'll take to take it down
>assuming you know how many people it'll take to take it down
>assuming these other people also have enough to take it down
>assuming these people aren't shitters and can also stick around
>OR somehow find enough irl people that also play it and are also decent to friend to invite to remote raids
>AND assuming these people can either show up irl or have remote raid passes and are available
>assuming enough of these people will be on the same arbitrary team as you so you can get more balls to catch the fucking thing
>and you STILLL STILLL STILLLL have to play the shitty catch game that barely functions on a mon with an insanely low catch rate
>and to top it all off you get 1 (one) free one a day, thats it
Justify this shit. For all the trouble and bullshit you 100% should just get the raid mon after you beat it.
To clarify I'm talking about from a design standpoint. The give no way to contact each other or know when raids outside you immediate vicinity are available, so as far as their concerned the above design is exactly what they want for people. They have no connection to discord, /pgg/, etc. or anything
