Infact I went and did research, he (solipede) doesn't appear in hidden grottos but in dream world.

" DW Venipede is %100 breedable in gen5 so it being shiny should be the least of your worries in bringing it to gen 6.
You didn't give him a hidden grotto location.... did you? If you didn't do egg that's got to be the problem.
