>>55015437The Legendary Beasts are my favorite trio and I also really like Cobalion so it really hurts me to see how their Paradox forms came out. Entei could be interesting as the defensive nature reminds me of that time in Sw/Sh where people were talking about Entei as a support but I really don’t see this surpassing Incineroar or even Arcanine. Raikou looks like an in-between of Ampharos and Mega Ampharos. I guess it’s neat we have a new bulky Electric but Mega Ampharos has noticeably better stats in every area except HP and Speed (and you could argue the min-maxed speed is better since you could commit to TR while Raikou’s is just awkward no matter what) while just barely beating it in BST, and the Mega wasn’t exactly an amazing Pokemon. I just flat out don’t understand what’s going on with Cobalion. The stat spread and the moves just don’t make sense to me. Base Cobalion also has a pretty wild movepool but it also has a much more balanced stat spread which allows it to better take advantage of the many niches it can fill. I’m really hoping there’s something glaring that I’m just not seeing because I was really, really excited for these three.
