Fennekin's body is similar to that of an internal furnace, fueled by the small sticks they find and consume on the ground. The lower the internal temperature of a Fennekin drops, the more lethargic they become.
Fennekin often eat wood chunks and sticks on the ground to fuel their bodies. If a Fennekin overeats, they can store too much energy and become very hyperactive.
While Fennekin are known for eating sticks, Braixen lose the appetite for them, as wood stops providing any real benefit for their bodies after evolution. Braixen prefer to carry the sticks in their tails as a tool for combat.
Braixen are known to hold sticks that they find in their bushy tails to use in combat. Studies have shown that Braixen can actually grow attached to their twigs the longer they use them. It has even been reported that some have mourned over their sticks breaking.
Braixen will begin to develop their psychic abilities some time after evolving. They can't do much, only able to lift small objects off the ground without straining themselves.
Delphox have fully mastered their psychic abilities, and are known to be very powerful. It is said when the amount of psychic power stored in a Delphox is immense, their flames begin to turn a bright blue.
