But just because 3/4/5 is better than 1 and 2, doesn’t mean that we should discredit them. 1 and 2 built the foundation of the franchise, and to be treated with respect.

While 6/7/8 are worse than 3/4/5, it doesn’t mean that EVERYTHING is worse. QoL improved massively. Graphics obviously improved from generation 5, but because of gamefreak’s incompetence, it can’t compete with its actual rivals: mario and zelda.
