With a pout, the jerk-husbando walks away. Once you're out of earshot, you see that he sighs and sulks the rest of the way.
You turn your attention to cute-waifu, "Oh, don't mind Taipe. He can be really grumpy sometimes, but it's only because he doesn't remember a lot of stuff, he can't even remember his own parents! I don't think he's even see them before either... He likes to say he "hides from me" in the tree just to get away from me, but really it's where he lives!"
She then blinks, "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Paige Up!~ But you can just call me Paige, miss mayor. Anyhow, Tai's first memory that he can recall was waking up in that tree, so he's grown kind of an attachment to it. I'm sure he'll have no problem finding another tree though!"
