He was still wrong, but he isn't as downright stupid as Archie/Maxie, or explicitly villainous as Ghetsis (using PETA as a front for TAKING OVER THE WORLD!) or Lysandre (Genocide is the Final Solution).
Giovanni and Ghetsis also deserve recognition for not really giving a shit about whether they were "right"- their ambitions weren't tied to some ideology, they just wanted power. I suppose you could say their ideology was that Power is really the only thing that actually matter, and in that sense, it is hard to say that they are wrong, they just had their ass kicked by a 12 year old / teenagers.
Can't wait for Team Skull. Even if they're just random punks, they have a lot of personality and it'll be fun.
