>>39953106I think you don't understand the status of the Pokemon Anime in Japan.
It is more regarded as a Kids' show thus needing to soft reboot ash each generation to synch up with the new fans but also please the older ones.
Add to the problem the fact that the anime is basically a shopfront for Pokemon merch and the games, it needs to follow a somewhat coherent structur with the games and can't have it
I'm sure even the producer don't await/value this much the fervent/loyal watchers as much as new kids getting into the show.
