Volcarona is better at revenge sweeping than trying to tank two hits, from something physical nonetheless. The HP investment will help greatly with getting 2+ QD's off if you're not running Roost.
Personally I like the strait up Speed+SPA for a quick sweep and for mid-speed scarfers (after +1) and basically all scarfers (after +2). Bug Buzz and Fiery for raw STAB, and either Hurricane, Giga Drain or Psychic for coverage.
Only thing that will halt you is Heatran at that point.
