All in all, each gen had great pokemon, but I hold particular beef with gen1 for many baffling, ugly and bad designs.
Gen2 I'm indifferent to because it was pretty well designed, but not that many stand out as my all time favorites, it's just kind of there
Gen5 for trying to reinvent the wheel with all new pokemens that aren't literal replacements of older pokemon. And gen6 for many revolting designs, most of them fairy. That said, I'm not really mad because in worst gens are also best designs so...
And before anyone accuses me, my first was Pokemon Red.
