I'm super surprised by Beedrill. After getting twin needle he is carrying his weight and can fuck up the many common grass and poison types. He has been a straight boss.
Nidoking is undeniably my strongest pokemon. Bulky early, strong as hell, doesn't even have a move besides body slam but doesn't need it until I get earthquake.
Wartortle is about average. He picked up a lot when I got bubblebeam. Pretty much as expected. If he dies I'm going to use gyarados
Dodrio is a later addition than the rest (route 16) but he trained up quick and you get tri attack and drill peck very quickly. He's a beast. I don't think I'm keeping Hitmonlee because that's another psychic weakness, but that said I am tempted to use Gengar, hehe.
I think my team will be rounded out by Gengar + safari zone encounter, hopefully something badass like Tauros or Kangaskhan.
