>>51391393Fellow Slowbrobro reporting, Slowbro is all about sustained offense and getting clutch crowd control where it's needed the most. Your regen is probably the best in the game since unlike Greedent, who regens by running away, you get absolutely stupid healing engaging against the enemy.
Basically, you want to buddy up with any attacker and annoy the enemy team till they hard focus you while your attacker (hopefully) chips them down. That's general defender gameplay, but the Slowbro specific stuff is that you can also kite and ruin offensive characters' entire day depending on your set.
Surf is excellent against teams with plenty of Attackers, but requires your team to have better close range fighters to capitalize on your stuns, you're getting stronger CC later in the game in exchange for worse healing. Scald is absolutely insane against shutting down anyone who runs off the Attack stat, so if you have say 2 people going Absol, TTar, Dnite or Greninja or especially Cinderace on the enemy team, you want to pick it. Scald's healing is also out of this world, so you're trading stronger CC for more heals and debuffing the enemy.
The more faith you have in your team, the more you wanna run Telekinesis, I think it pairs way better with Surf (Surf into TK is a very strong combo) but is viable on Scald as well, but if you're a solo queue man like me then Amnesia makes you almost unkillable in 1v1s (and if you are in a 1v1 you're wasting the enemy's time which is also good) and when paired with Scald, makes you Sponebob in the Flats episode.
In regards to levels, leveling Slowbro is probably the worst part about him, but honestly you don't need to be any higher than 11. I always take the time to make sure I farm the Indeedees past the first goal no matter what because that gap from 8 to 11 is the biggest uphill climb you can have, if you're packing Scald though its not as important.
Lastly, your Ult wing games, actively hunt for the biggest DPS and remove him.
